Residents looking to own their own home can now get tailored advice following the launch of a free appointment service.
The council’s low cost home ownership team is now offering one-to-one appointments to give residents the chance to find out more about opportunities available locally. This includes the council’s Own Home Loan scheme, First Homes, shared ownership schemes and the council’s home ownership register. As part of the new appointment service, residents will be given information and guidance on the housing buying process and things they will need to consider, providing a helpful starting point for anyone wanting to buy their own home.
