Following last night’s government announcement we have entered a new lockdown nationally. This means that everyone should follow the government guidance and stay at home https://www.gov.uk/
For Herriard Green and other public places around the village you can exercise:
- by yourself
- with the people you live with
- with your support bubble (if you are legally permitted to form one)
- in a childcare bubble where providing childcare
- or, when on your own, with 1 person from another household
Following the rules now will help us all in the end. Serious contraventions should be reported to the police.
We will be keeping up with the latest updates, and will pass on any relevant news via this website and the village Facebook page. The latest B&DBC information on the lockdown can be found here.
We have also worked alongside St Mary’s Church to provide a network of Herriard Helpers to assist vulnerable people, and those needing help due to the isolation measures. If you know of anyone we have not been in touch with, can you please contact clerk@herriard-pc.gov.
